I was just thinking, instead of emotes, it should be hotkeys to whatever we want them to be from our inventory. Ex. Pressing up on the d-pad would be the heavy ammo synthesis, thus refilling our heavy ammo. Of course, there will still be the applied cool down. Since there is no way we can pause the game, we will be very vulnerable while trying to activate our synthesis. The ability to use the d-pad as hotkeys to activate our synthesis, telemetries, or glimmer-related items will take care of that problem. Edit: Ok so a lot of people REALLY want to keep dancing :D ... I thought about it a lot more and that got me thinking. If Bungie really wanted more RPG elements in the game, the d-pad could be a reworked inventory system. Ex. Up on the d-pad gives you access to all consumables. Left, your weapons. Down, your gear. Right, the emotes. Edit 2: Forgot to mention something really important. ***While accessing your inventory, the screen will be opaque, meaning you will have vision of what's going on in front of you and still have map awareness of any incoming enemies*** Edit 3: Earlier, I said the screen will be "opaque." That's what I was thinking at the time, but I meant to say it's opacity is set so the background (gameplay) is visible enough. Say, maybe an opacity of 5-25%? Edit 4: Loving everyone's ideas! So far a majority have suggested: - Weapon Wheels - Take out the Ghost for more options - Learning/Buying dance moves These awesome ideas and suggestions may not happen unless maybe, we can give this more bumps/comments/likes! The chance may be slim, but we'd rather take that chance than just let it pass by. Who knows, maybe Bungie will keep their word and "listen to the community."
