CHANGE THE USE OF THE D-PAD...
I was just thinking, instead of emotes, it should be hotkeys to whatever we want them to be from our inventory.
Ex. Pressing up on the d-pad would be the heavy ammo synthesis, thus refilling our heavy ammo. Of course, there will still be the applied cool down.
Since there is no way we can pause the game, we will be very vulnerable while trying to activate our synthesis. The ability to use the d-pad as hotkeys to activate our synthesis, telemetries, or glimmer-related items will take care of that problem.

Great post. I don't understand why a guardian of the galaxy would not keep weapon synthesis on hand at all times. Even if it had to be a single synth of a chosen type. Would still be nice to have emote communication for non fireteam members (point to a chest/Blade of Crota, some form of thumbs up after a public event, a "hold position" fist motion, etc)

Perfect so I can put the for farming glimmer items on them and not have to pause on every strike thus having team leave due to me being in menu they think I'm inactive
