Post your best Firefight strategies!
Firefight in ODST gives players a chance to actually strategize against groups of AI in a fight for survival. After a few years of being released, I imagine a different branches and kinds of strategies have emerged from dedicated players, and it would be interesting to see how they stack up with and against each other.
For example: Last Minute Weaponry
When the last 5 enemies are shown, kill the strongest ones and leave the weakest, preferably a grunt. Go through all the weapon spawns and take them from their spawn, especially turrets. That way when reinforcements come, you keep last rounds weaponry AND the new rounds new weapons. I commonly use this in large teams of 4.

Stockpile weaponry/vehicles Weapons in ODST disappear a set time after you pick them up, so to keep a weapon you will have to pick it up every few minutes. Juggle (swap and swap over and over again while walking forward) at least 2 Plasma Pistols and a heavy weapon (FRG, Rockets) to your spawn. This way, if your team (or just you) get spawn-trapped, it doesn't mean the end of your game. Every few waves, check back to your spawn (you may be already going back for ammo) and pick up each weapon. If you have a team, you can assign each player to an area and say twice a round go by and touch each weapon. If there's another power position on the map (elevator area on Alpha Site, main building on Lost Platoon, Lobby on Last Exit, then you may want to keep some weapons there too. I recommend keeping an SMG or Brute Plasma Rifle there so that when the Drones come you're not screwed and have to run all the way back to the spawn. That's all for now.
