I just ran VoG hard mode and I got shards and energy the entire raid and im a 31 trying to carry my friend through because he was a 28. So, I was killing most of the enemys in my fireteam and he was just sitting in the back trying not to die. He got the fusion rifle (which is the only gun that I've been trying to get from vog), the shotgun, armor, and the vex mythoclast... and that was his second time doing the raid, it took me at least 15 runs to get the mythoclast. It should reward people for the skill not randomly... [u]Sincerely, a pissed off warlock. [/u]
