My problem used to be that I would get so focused on just shoot shoot shoot that I wouldn't use any abilities. I'd finish something and realize that i had my super and grenades for like 99% of my mission. Make sure to use all of your abilities whenever necessary.

Always do bounties, as many as you can. Also, pick a faction to level up. Check the gear fwc, nm, and do have to offer you. Imo, new monarchy has the best gun you can buy. Don't be afraid to run away, a lot of the enemies in this game will kill you faster than you can kill them, but theyre easily outsmarted. Ive noticed a lot of new players, just stay out in the open untill they die.
