Example A of my problem with destinys loot system.
Nothing should be so entirely random. Random loot can be great, in fact, I love it and think it works well the majority of the time. However, in situations like PVP, it feels like there should be a form of guidance on the "randomness" of loot, like only being able to earn certain catagories/amounts of loot based on performance/victory or just increasing odds for doing better.
People will complain with things like "but what about the people like me who arent good at PVP, you cant just not let us get anything good"
Well, you need to be fairly good at PVE to get loot opportunity's from things like nightfall and raids, so why should PVP be any different? Why should the people that consistently perform better or play more not be rewarded respectively? I have been in many matches where the MVP's get nothing, while legendarys or even exotics get handed out to the bottom rung. Just something minor like a guarantee of blue engrams for those doing well would be much better than the current system.
