Do you think that Elemental Primary Weapons should be available to Non Raiders or casual players?
Just because you don't raid should not be a reason to not have access to Primary Elemental Weapons.
Bungie, Add Primary Elemental Weapon bounties.for the rest of us.

Don't know how to feel about this. On one hand I want that like a fat kid want cake. We will see how house of wolves dlc shapes up on that regard. On the other hand, the raid primary weapons are pretty badass. So I understand why bungie decided to make em attainable only through raids. I Don't have one as of now, but I've played with people who have em.

6 RepliesSorry friend...but that's a NO. Nothing personal, but that's kinda the flavor of doing raids man. Besides it kinda sucked that newcomers could get to 31 without raiding, I dont have anything against newcomers, and I help a lot of guys everyday, but to let them get to 31 just like that? only the people who has been playing day 1 will really understand. It was hard man...HARD.

Raiders should be given an advantage. Sorry to say it but it is fair, the highest non raid content in the game is level 30. So there's no point to being an extra level above as a raider if you look ay non raid content. Elemental weapons is the only worthwhile reward that separates the raiders from the non raiders. If you're having trouble finding a team there are third party sites Not sure if I can post a link here but google "destiny lfg" there are 2 sites, one is bungie featured

I'm sorry - I'm all for fairness and helping people out but this game goes out of it's way enough already to be welcoming to new players without having to share out raid level gear/weapons to players that haven't attempted or cleared the raid.

Im sorry but no. After the amount of time i spent suffering through 2 miserable fireteams of mostly randoms and then finally completing it with my friends on sunday, hell no. If you dont want to make friends, use the forum or destinylfg.com thats your fault. There is a point to them being raid weapons, you only get them from completing the hard raid. If you cant or wont do what you have to raid thats on you. The rest of us who do raid shouldnt have the time we spent grinding it out trivialized cause you're butthurt you cant get them. So sick of selfish posts saying i cant have or didnt get this or that so everyone must suffer. Screw that and anyone who posts this dribble.

This shit isn't hard, I got far enough to get radiant shards, with no raid exp, no raid completion, on my secondary warlock account alone. Give us a I gaurdians to play with, have them do whatever idc I just want to raid. They know what they're doing, it's an event no body can participate in, and the ones that do make sacrifices normal people aren't trying to make, and shouldn't have to.

If they add any elemental primary weapons it should be an exotic. That is the only way a non - raider should have any opportunity to get it.

Voted no.....here's why...... A number of you are calling raiders hardcore, so the most hardcore weapons are knabbed by the most hardcore players. I've got a few because I've only raided a few times, I consider myself VERY lucky!!

I think, maybe just a weaker tier, but absolutely. Raiding is for the hardcore players. There should be opportunities to earn rare, elemental primaries for everyone, not just the "best of the best." Let's face it, some people just aren't good enough to Raid! Why should they get content locked away from them, just because of their skill level? ANYONE can hit the second-highest level, without a single piece of Raid gear, it just matters how much time they put in. Why not the same thing with SOME elemental weapons? Just cap the damage a tiny bit lower than the Raid tier weapons. Sounds fair, right? Raid armor is better, Raid weapons are better. But everyone can still access some level of everything.

Nightfall is the only place outside of the raid you could possibly need an elemental primary. That said if you can do the nightfall you can do the raid. To find groups use the recruitment section on these forums. I have had so much better luck finding groups this way than on lfg. I have only recently started raiding and it is a definite must do. The raids have greatly renewed my desire to play this game.

Voted maybe. I could see it being alright if they were obtained by an incredibly long bounty, but I think it would be better to just come out with new weapons for something like that instead and keep the raid weapons exclusive to the raid.

Raid weapons should be kept as raid weapons and primaries on hard alone. Makes it challenging. However this time around bungie - you really f-d up on the weapon perks

I personally think elemental primaries should stay as raid rewards. Their main benefit is in end game pve anyway, so if you're not raiding or doing nightfall you'll do just as well with normal weapons. I like that there is still something special about raid weapons.

I believe there should be a limited amount of elemental primary's outside the raid but they shouldn't be sold by vendors and should've have perks better then the raid weapons

elemental primaries are one of the few true perks to raiding. if you want them, you should do a raid.
