I seem to recall some effort being made in the past to deal with this by putting a fireteam on each team... A 5-man fireteam on one side and a 2-man fireteam on the other doesn't count, okay? It's still ridiculously one-sided. I just played through one IB round of that unbalance (our team lost with ~8k points) and realized what was going on at the start of the next. I left, went back to IB and was dropped in an already-in-progress game with the score at something like 4k - 12k. Sure enough, the winning team had a 4-man fireteam. While you (Bungie) have the right idea as far as putting fireteams against each other, your implementation is far too soft. If the matchmaking engine can't instantly find a matched fireteam, sucks to be them... They can wait. Throwing a clan against a couple people chatting while doing PvP and a bunch of strays is just a shooting gallery. If a clan wants the challenge of coordinated team play, they deserve a similarly coordinated team. It's the difference between a sports event and a gang roaming the streets mugging people.
