Bungie sure as hell aren't going to explain this one for a while, so I'm wondering if anyone else has an idea on what exactly the Darkness has to do with the enemy aliens? The Hive and Vex are obvious, the Hive serve the Darkness and gain their powers from it. The Vex seem to worship it because that is the only logical conclusion they reached about the Darkness. Yet the Fallen and Cabal are just kinda there and don't seem to have much of an alliance to the Darkness. I suppose the Fallen may serve the Darkness to get revenge against the Traveler, been thinking the the Fallen once served the Traveler but for some reason it abandoned them. Makes sense, they seem to be trying to manufacture their own Light through the Ether Seeds and worship spherical machines possibly made in the Travelers' image. Can't draw any conclusions from the Cabal, but the Grimoire card suggesting they are fleeing something makes me think they may serve the Darkness to keep that threat at bay. Don't know, anyone got any clues?
