Late night/early mornin GLIMMER FARMERIN Tips

So i stumbled across a thread discussing heavy ammo and how u lose between a large portion to a majority of your heavy ammo on death in PVE. I had always assumed you got to keep your ammo or at least most of it. These players mentioned how wearing any armor that gives + heavy ammo seems to make them lose more ammo than it was worth upon death. So heres what you should do and what ive done to literally up my glimmer farming from about an avg 20k per hr to something close to 30k an hr. Here are the two glimmer farming setups i ran and currently now run for when xur comes around or for whenever i need a bit of quick glimmer. The trick was ditching carry more heavy ammo gear since This is using the ever so popular exclusion zone farming method, if you havent heard of it look it up on youtube, everyone and and their mother has a guide up on farming it for glimmer. Warlocks; (where i started) go for a build focusing on sunsinger sticky nades or cool down resetting on a void walker. I happen to have heart of the praxic fire or starfire protocol, you dont have to focus on using rockets but its still viable since with just one + heavy weapon since u dont have a choice, you only tend to lose a couple rockets depending on the launcher upon death so you can focus on using the rockets before supers. With the praxic fire, use double grenades in ur skill tree, chose fusion grenades, try your best to stack up that intel and use items that help with the stickies and super, like throw distance, grenade kills give super, kills give nades etc. With an LMG kill most the enemies as you venture forward to spawn the majors, stand in a comfy place (i like the tiny little bunker ceiling segment to the right) let the mobs that get dropped jet pack toward the middle area as they come for you and then hover over them dropping stickies and blocking them form hovering away by timing your hover to be right above them as the stickies land on them. Active your super, use the defense bonus super, use flame shield if necessary then start sticking every single major cabal in sight ASAP. They drop like flies and then stick the ground for a suicide. With starfire/praxic and or void/sunsing when using a rocket launcher, do the same but start off by blowing a hole in the trash mobs in front of you, sprinting through, using the last of your rockets on the majors as they drop or as they jet pack towards the middle, then use ur abilities/supers after as you see fit. Now for the crazy glimmer farming... Using a hunter i run mask for the third man and encore for blade dancer to maximize my supers up time. I focus on blinking using R1 to move from one enemy to another and utilize showstopper to take out all the majors the second they touch the ground on spawn or after they aggro to you. Your best be with this setup is to ignore all the first mobs you wanna max out agility, i even use 2 weapons with lightweight and then a hezen vengeance (previously a gjallarhorn before i realized it was better to not use boots for + heavy ammo) You want path forgotten fleet footed and way of the nomad, you should be able to wipe all the majors with one super before they can even get away from you up the hill. Sine your not using hungering blade youll most likely be close to death which is perfect for once youve cleared the majors to reset. Other than that just try to focus on using a combo of your abilities with a backup fusion rife for stragglers or rockets with the super but again keep a nice fusion rifle handy just in case i tend to have to use mine quite a bit even when im timing everything well. Heres a rough hunter video with all the same info and run down for the setup i use with most mentions from the forum with proof of for example losing heavy ammo when using + heavy ammo gear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QStPn3Lo_JI Sorry but i had some audio issues with my mic recording the warlock one but for the most part everything u need is there in the video or at east here if the audio cuts out at important parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-m-FaXfDVg - Im at the end of a crazy long stream marathon and i coudnt find the videos i wanted to give credit to that i used to learn to use the blade dancer and rockets for warlock. Anyways please bare with me and the poor quality of the video/audio since i cant get my delays synced on my temp streaming PC im using, and the mic threshold is messed up on my other software. Anyways i hope this helps someone and gl grinding that glimmer for ur last xur upgrades or whatever u may need it for.
