For those of you who don't know, transmogrification (or transmog) will be explained So, a big problem in the endgame of Destiny is player customization. Basically, more or less all level 32s look the same, bar a different exotic. I believe the developer should add a transmog system as it would allow true and free customization. [u]HOW IT WORKS:[/u] The idea I had for a transmog system is that you must find an armor piece you like for your class. You would then go to Eva, who will have a menu for transmog. You select an item from your equipped armors, then whatever item you wish to change its look too. Transmogrification is a system in many MMOs such as Rift and WOW. Basically what you do is take a piece of high level gear to a transmogrifier, who then will change to look of that item to that of another item for a small fee. It is reversible, and the item's stats remain un-affected. The armor peice will keep its stats, perks and current progression, but will change to the armor it was 'transmogged' to. There would be a small fee for this, I was thinking of maybe 400 glimmer, and the other item you 'transmog' your exotic/raid gear/legendary to is destroyed in the process. The process should be reversible for a fee of 300 glimmer, but the helmet you used to change appearance is lost as I said earlier. I believe this would add a new dimension to the endgame, instead of everyone wearing the same set of gear. Right now, you have to wear a certain set of gear to get to 32 (the max. light level cap). This goes against any kind of customization. Sure, we have shaders, but they don't alter the actual appearance of the armour itself, only gives it a new colour. If transmog was added we have people who look unique in their own right, but still able to succeed in the endgame and flash off their level 32 gear.
