Does anyone else experience hand cramps with their PS4 controller? Specifically on the outer edge of your hand after extended play periods? Now before I get flamed and told to stop playing so long, go outside, etc.. I just want to say that there are days that I can feel it in my hands even after only 45-60 minutes.
This led me to begin a search for any type of controller mod that basically increases the size of the wings on the controller so that there is more to hold, thus not keeping your hand as clenched. First thought was simply find an Xbox style controller that would work with the PS4. Not exactly though, since I want symmetrical sticks, but just in line with the Xbox controller's size.
Attached is a YouTube that I found of a clever controller mod that I found for the PS3 so I'm sure something similar would work, but before I go and start scavenging for materials, I wanted to come here and ask if any other players know of mods that are actually for sale, or if they have successfully modded their own in this manner.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope someone can offer some help!
Edit: For the record as well, I do not have abnormally large hands, my glove size is medium. I also don't feel that I'm holding the controller incorrectly. Perhaps something to do with the change to most games where L2/R2 are now aim/shoot where it didn't use to be? I'll have to try switching the controls around to see if that solves my cramping issue.
Edit: Nobody really? I must be insane....
Edit: I found PLAYBUDZ.com and will get back here with a little review once they come.
Edit: Using PlayBudz for over a week solid now and seems to have given me relief! Image uploaded showing my current controller.

I know this is an old post but I'm having issues with the DS4. For me the area between my thumb and index gets mega stressed. I have huge hands and the shape of the DS4 handles makes me have to actually grab the controller. The 360 handles push out from the back so your hand is able to hold the controller w/o creating a fist. I've had to resort to holding hand rags while I play so there's enough girth on the handles for me to hold it comfortably. I need to find out what type of DS4 my friend has because I've played for hours with his controller and didn't feel any strain.

I have the same issue. Still haven't figured this out.

Thank you very much. Just ordered mine as well. Hope this solves my hand pain issues. Remember you only have one set of hands take care of them :P

Honestly I'm blown away that nobody else with PS4 finds this an issue.

I don't know of anything of the sort that's for sale. You might want to look at a scuf because they allow you to hold the controller a bit differently but I don't know if that would ease your cramps or not. My hands are kinda small though so this might be why I don't feel this.
