More than one EXOTIC WEAPON for FAST SWAP!!!
Worst decision ever to not allow this. It is only equipped for quick weapon switching, only one can be shot at a time, so...WTF? How many people have more than one exotic weapon that they want equipped at a time? Besides the vote, I would have to assume almost everyone. This is especially lame in the tower when turning in bounties since only one exotic can be given XP at a time.
Changed the title to now show "for FAST SWAP" instead of "at a time" since some don't understand that only one weapon can be fired at a time.

I think the one exotic limitation should be taken off for PvE play.

Scenario, i need thorn, its on my titan, i can't deposit it to my bank because i have nothing to replace the thorn with, i have to run and buy shit weapon from vendor just to replace thorn.

I think they should implement multiple weapon setups kinda like weapon classes for you to hold the d-pad and swap between mid combat

Personally, owning 12 exotics and all the work I went through to get all those exotics seems lackluster knowing I can only equip one of those 12 at a time. I thought they said they were going to make it so you could actually equip more than one at a time and that it was coming out with one of the patches or DLC or something. Is that not a thing?

Did it not occur to you that quickly swapping them would also be overpowered? I could go from a trusty Mida, get a snapshot with an Ice Breaker with a follow up from the Ghorn, how is that not ridiculously overpowered? You might not be getting the effects of them all at once no, but just the ability to quickly switch between them would be way too much. At least with the current system there are some limits, such as time and ammo loss. Besides, do you really want to see everybody running around with a Thorn/Suros, Ice Breaker and Ghorn? All at once? At least now there's a tiny bit of variety.

1 ReplyI think bungie should considering implementing a system were you are able to swap the weapon you have equipped by one you have in your inventory back pack as well as having the Y button as your switch from your weapon your currently carrying as a further option

I think we should be allowed to have 2 exotics equipped at a time like 2 weapons or 2 armor at once or just one armor one weapon I think u can't have a bunch of exotic slots because that would be way too op

1 ReplyIf you feel you need more than one exotic then you should try to fill the gaps with better legendaries. Honestly some legendaries are better than exotics. So no need for multiple equips. If its only for the sake of saving time to switch loadout, then an option on death to choose loadouts may be a better option.

This would completely ruin the challenge aspect of the game. Not to mention all the raids that would be finished <30 minutes. 2) I don't play a ton of PVP because of the people (and the fact I don't really try). Think of the shotgun whores running around with Invective, swapping to Suros, then blowing people away with Gjala. You think the Crucible is bad now... 3) the irony: people go around belittling and saying cheesing is a sin, but get on board when someone brings up god status with max exotics. What is the difference? Skipping a part to make it easier, or doing tremendous damage making it equally short. Bungie made most exotics high quality because you can only use one. This makes (potentially) teamwork better: who has the best slotted exotic for that job. What is the point in playing a game if you become a walking god? One that is unkillable and can insta kill everything. Nothing, that would leave absolutely nothing left to do. This should never be implemented, nor even thought about by Bungie. Also, lol with the choices. Setting it up like the bias idiot you are. If you keep that inventory clean, it takes 5 seconds to rotate gear.

You make sense. That is not allowed here. We only reply and adjust to " OFG Nurf teh guns coz I died" on the serious, yes. It makes no sense to only have one equipped. I switch them out on a regular basis anyway during a strike.

I don't think the exotics are the problem I think just being able to hot swap through weapons full stop would help. A weapon wheel or something, anything that's quicker than hiding and then negotiating menus would be a fantastic improvement, that and ammo synthesis. These are things I would rather have than carrying 2 exotics
