Destiny Login Issues

I can't login to destiny anymore, I keep getting an "Attention: You must be connected to Xbox Live in order to play Destiny" even though I'm logged in and xbox live is working just fine, my friend is also having this issue. If anyone else is, please post here as well. Edit3: Got kicked again and I'm experiencing the same issues as before. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status?icid=furl_status Edit2: Just got in and I'm loading into a mission now. I'll update if I get kicked again. Edit1: I know about the DDoS attacks, but they stopped last night and I've been playing fine all day today, just started having issues the past 15 minutes with this.

  • I press A to play, and it takes about a minute to "verify content", and then it takes me to an update screen, which lasts about 10 seconds, and then tells me an error occurred during installation. Please try again. This has been going on since day after Christmas. XBL. All my friends are having no trouble getting back on, so either XBL is still down in my area, or Destiny servers are down here.

    • Bloody hell! All day yesterday could not get on xbl until late in the evening, and now this morning I keep getting lost connections or party waiting to stabilise. I can play titanfall no problem, but destiny is hanging there with lost connections or party waiting to stabilise (and it's only me playing) Seriously, I had more fun playing a week before the Xmas holidays until all this shit started with ddos f-wits. Now what's going on? I bet new new year is going to be the same. Update - finally got into the tower, let's see how long it lasts this time before I get booted out again.

      • Just managed to sign into psn but cant get into destiny now keeps saying server not available or cant connect to psn thou im signed in this is so frustrating , im in the uk , if anybody else in the uk here let me know plz

        • Just bought a new Xbox one. Paid for xbox one and destiny. And now can't even play the stupid thing. Why the hell have an update during Christmas break when everyone is buying the game and have all the issues. Whomever idea that was should be fired. It's going to cause a lot of people to tell there friends not to bother to buy the game or the system . Waste of money and time. Someone dropped the ball. 😡

            I just tried to login again, and wasn't able to. Are you still having troubles or is yours working fine? Edit 3:53hr later: Unable to connect to destiny servers.

            • Xbox live connection issue is fixed but now I still can't get on destiny, keep getting banjo code says lost connection to destiny servers! Three days now and minimal destiny gaming is not a good way to start off the new year or enjoy holidays, bout to go back to cod and bungie can shove this pos up theyre ass

            • It keeps making me re download the -blam!-ing update gets to 99% then -blam!-ing quits and says you must be connected to xbox live while I'm in a -blam!-ing party with three jack asses who have the same problem

            • OK can anyone tell me why the hell this stupid game is saying that I don't have the dark below content that I have had since day one?? I have put up with all of the bs that bungie has served it's community to this date but now it's removed content I have already bought!!! I refuse to purchase the same content again. Fix this already bungie, this is ridiculous!!!

              • I've been playing most of the day with no issues (12pm - 4pm GMT). Just returned (6.40pm GMT) and am now having the "you must have an xbox live subscription" error. I've never had this so far, even yesterday i was able to play. Anyone else experiencing this?

              • Im having the Same issue. and Im using the PSN in NE. PSN is signed in. PSStore works everything else is fine. just Not Destiny.

                • Same here in Texas. I did notice that my Live Gold wouldn't log in fully until I rebooted. What I mean by fully is that my gold games section said I could sign up for gold. Unplug and reboot fixed that. However, in the Xbox Settings the subscriptions won't show my live and gives an error instead. I suspect Bungie is connecting to the same part to check our live and not getting in. Xbox Live status page also mentions issue with Social and Gaming on the Xbox 1 Platform https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status "12/26/2014 5:17:35 PM CST: Hi Xbox members, are you having trouble launching certain titles?                   • Yeah I've been getting a bunch of different problems since XBL came back up, logging in takes ages, party stabilization takes ages, hawk errors, for the first time I saw a prune error, but the problem that keeps coming up the most is this: "You have lost connection to Destiny servers. Your permissions to access online multiplayer gameplay may have changed or your profile may have been signed in elsewhere." This is really frustrating...

                      This is BS! I bought the game and bought the platform, I do not understand how or why there isn't a way to play this game I've lawfully paid for. They have no obligation to keep their service up, so this dependency on a third-party is a 12 foot stick in my @$$. F Bungie, MS and PSN for easily taking our money and not providing the capability to use the thing we bought. This is completely unreasonable. I wish some group would hack Bungie, as they are part of the problem for selling a game that isn't stable. Their idea of architecture is a straw house. - Hippo McG

                          • XB live is back up, but not Destiny. When I try and play Destiny I get Vulture error code, red launch button, or a msg saying I lost connection to Destiny servers. >:-(
