3 of Same Character, or All Different?
Hello everyone, happy holidays.
Lately I've been jumping back and forth as to whether I should start a new Titan or make a new character. I'll be honest, I haven't been a fan of the Titan and almost feel like starting a new main character but I can't stand the fact that I will lose so many hours I put in. If I do decide to keep my Titan and get a new one, I would do it to level my main one up as well. But for some reason that doesn't sit well with me, I don't know why. So here's my question to you. Would you rather...

Make a new one and lose all your hours put in?
Also, which is your favorite class and why?[/b]

The ONLY benefit to having 3 of the same is for the chance of getting raid gear quicker. You're at a disadvantage in every other aspect. In general, having three different classes provides variety. Nightfall, vendor level, and engram rewards all have a potential to be random class item. With one of each character, you never feel cheated. So you have the potential to max your level faster with 3 of the same. You'll just find yourself wanting to delete your duplicates and start a new class so you have something to do.

Started with three hunters, deleted two and made one of each because I maxed all three hunters out and needed something to do. Hunter is still my favorite, but I love my Titan now. Warlock I'm still lukewarm about.

Make a new one that you actually enjoy playing, put your armor and weapons in the vault so you can use what's usable for your new guy and dismantle the rest for shards and mats, and count the hours as experience and learning.

I had all three classes at 30, pre dlc. Don't regret it

Favorite class: warlock. Self res is good for hard raid and nightfalls when you get in a bind. Nova bomb is like a titan fist of havoc, except you can shoot from a distance and not have to be right next to them, and it will track them I have had all 3 classes fully leveled. About 400 hours of game play. Most was on a hunter. Would never go back to a hunter tho

2 RepliesFrom my experience, all the same. Here is why: Before DLC I grinded hard for a 30 warlock, 30 titan, and 29 hunter (1 piece from 30). Then the DLC came out and rendered all the levels useless. So instead of spending weeks getting raid gear for each character and waiting more weeks for radiant shards, im making one level 32 that i can transfer gear between. Im doing this so when the next DLC comes out i wont have 3 useless characters AGAIN and have to start completely over with all new gear. Saves time and get to 32 faster with the same races.

I know have 2 Titans and 1 Hunter. I had a warlock but I couldn't stand there play style so I deleted it and made me another Titans.

depends, i have 2 warlocks so i can ofcourse nightfall and raid twice but also so i have a better chance at raid gear for my warlock, i can easily transfer gear to the other char also since theyre the same class so id make the same char if u only want one char but want more chances at raid gear etc... if not and u want to explore, then u should make diff chars, also if u have all 3 chars, the chances of exotic engrams purchased from xur screwing u are slim unless u get the same piece of gear

I'd say make a new one even one of each to see what kind of playstyle fits you the most. I like titan the most since it's the most support driven class with the bubble or flashbangs. I'd also say those hours aren't lost if you had fun. Otherwise all hours playing games are lost and playing games is just useless

2 Hunters, 1 Warlock. 2 Hunters because I need Crota Loot and a Warlock because I like to switch up my play style every so often.

All 3 different characters. And I still got 32. I like all three classes it's a lot more fun
