Wow you must live on these forums, all I keep seeing is posts by you about how much pve sucks and how pvp is the true focus of the game. I'm sorry but there is how much pvp content compared to pve? Seems like the focus is where it needs to be.

in case you haven't actually been paying attention, just about every change to the game is a result of you crybaby PvP players.

"Bungie Reveals its Destiny in This Documentary" so PvP isn't everything and is DEFINITELY NOT the most important aspect of the game since a shocking 88% of the community who bought this game is playing PvE not PvP.

PVE is competitive multiplayer as well.

I don't understand the people that don't understand op. Yes the game is heavy on building your guardian and the pve but one of the main reasons to build him up is to use him against other players. People buy for campaign, pve, and pvp. They stay for pvp.

No... no no no. Stop it right now. Bad God! Bad God! I've watched PVP kill many good games over the past twenty years. Eventually, people get tired of running around the same maps and killing the same people. This is exactly what people are complaining about the PVE aspect of this game entailing too. Very few people like a mindless grind. But the PVP people, well, something new and shiny comes out and they flock there. Unfortunately PVP is a reality to appease to the instant gratification sect of society and is not going anywhere in gaming anytime soon. Hop in, kill something for a short period of time, and feel awesome! When something shorter and easier makes this group feel better, they leave. This is why there have been so many CoDs, BFs, and why almost every game now comes out with a constant stream of DLC starting day one. Something has to keep the shine on! Reality is, PVP is not more important to PVE, and PVE is not more important than PVP. Developers that focus on one over the other pay for it by not having enough of a support base to continue growing their game. Think of game developing like developing a menu for a restaurant. If you only offer tacos only people who like tacos will come. If you diversify your offering you will appeal to more people and your restaurant will have more customers. Hence why most burger joints offer chicken sandwiches. If anything, this game is suffering from putting too much importance on PVP. Take the shotgun nerf and all of the weapon nerfs so far for example. The developers didn't nerf these weapons because it was too easy to run up to Atheon and blow his face off with the Invective. They did it because it was causing too many people to rage quit over the "imbalance" of being shot in the face with a shotgun while running around a close quarters crucible map. Now shotguns are novelty items in PVE, with little application and use besides being your "shitting around" guns. Now exotics like the "Pocket Infinity" are fundamentally changed so as to not make people log out after running into someone who knew how to use it. People who enjoyed using ARs for the familiarity of it, being the basic assault rifle from every shooting game they have ever played, had their guns nerfed because they were tactically superior over handguns or sniper rifles against moving aggressive targets. ARs were nerfed for sticking true to their real life counterparts. Now most ARs hit like pellet guns in PVE. But seriously, if you are not having fun here, and want a more PVP focused game, there are plenty of options out there. Go have fun and play something entertaining to you. Don't force yourself to play a game you dislike because, in the end, its a damn game and its all about enjoyment. You can hate or dislike a lot of things without wasting your time and money on them.

Says the scrub that has never hit max level or even tried the raid.. ;) PvP is fun sometimes, but its not the end all be all for competitive gaming.. this game is closer related to World of Warcraft than Halo or CoD as far as gameplay.. Youre playing a fraction of the game and not even attempting to play the majority of it before you dismiss it as unimportaint.. Youre like a picky child that says "I dont like it.. its gross" without even trying whats on your plate..
