Is Tolands Legacy / Bad Juju Worth it?
26 Strikes and 400 kills in the crucible is a lot of work and could ruin Christmas, I don't have a good reputation in the PvP arena. Is it worth it?

3 RepliesGo ahead and do it for the collection, if you don't like the weapon after upgrading it than get a shard out of it. ^-^ Quick tip, Nightfalls and weekly challenges boost the Strikes by an extra page per-run. (13 runs instead of 25, but you cut some serious loot doing this as Roc strikes are quite generous.

Edited by mrwazzabi: 12/22/2014 7:19:44 PMTake a few weeks to do it. No rush. Yes it is worth it. Great gun for killing ads in pve and also good in pvp. Your super will recharge insanely fast. Nightfall is worth 3 or 5 and weekly is worth 2. So start with one of those then do nightfall for the big count. If you play vanguard roc a lot, you'll have this done in no time. To powerlevel, play nexus easy mode. 8 minutes each run if you run past ads and kill the bosses fast

Yea do it! I've got that bounty for 2 of my characters right now and have done it before once. A lot of grinding, but that's what this game is all about!

Easy bounty even for us PvE guys. It's kill points and you dont lose points for dieing like the thorn bounty. I love my JuJu with it maxxed out and String of Curses perk it is a wrecking machine. Example: On Mars where the Cabal and Vex always fight in that circular area, you can take JuJu and continually kill all Vex & Cabal and never reload, including the Praetorian ( wont work like that in th VoG though)

It's really good for the beginning of Croats end raid with all the thralls you never have to reload

Weekly strike gives you 2 strikes, nightfall gains you 3.

Now I think it has quietly become one of the best exotic rifles in the game. String of Curses makes it a crowd-control BEAST in PvE, and each kill adding to your super makes it a viable option in PvP. The strikes part is the worst....but can be ground out on weekend day if you determined enough. The PVP part is pretty simple. Its' basiscally about 100 kills in the Crucible. No penalties for dying like the Invective or Thorn bounties. Pluse with the larger magazine the post-buff Bad Juju level up should be pretty painless.

Didn't care for it myself, once I got Red Death I forgot all about it, JuJu became a shard.

I see that you're main is a warlock. If you enjoy Voidwalker (which is the more fun of the two for me) it could be an amazing weapon when coupled with the Obsidian Mind. Can you say ultra quick nova bombs? That's the exotic bounty I'm going to do if Xur doesn't offer an upgrade for it by the time I get my next vanguard missive and patiently wait for Xur to sell the Obsidian Mind.

Never had much luck in the VoG with juju but wish I could get a 2.0 version of it. Feel like one would have a super very quickly killing thralls one after the other.

It's a "decent" gun. The string of curses perk is what makes it worth having. As long as you can kill 1 enemy per clip. Infinite ammo and don't reload. Like others have said. The 25 strikes part is the worse part of the bounty. The 10,000 points in crucible is not bad. In never goes down. Regardless how much you die. Just put on headphones. Crank your best tunes and let her rip.

1 ReplyBad juju is way better than before man. Its totAlly worth it. The strikes part is by far the most bullshit part of the bounty, but the crucible part is by far the easiest. As long as youre going positive, youll be done with it in no time.

Honestly the bounty took me like 4 days to do of on-and-off play. The 26 strikes part is the worst, I'll admit it. I did the nexus mind and Valus Ta'aurc strikes so many times I doubt I could ever do them again. However, I really like bad juju. Just put some music in and zone off while playing.

It's not that bad at all as I was able to do the needed kills in 11 games. Key is to get some friends to help and control two points and have the other team on the other point and just let them come to you and pick them off as they show up. Bad Juju is good for the juggler option as it saved my bacon more than once. Just wish damage was a little higher. Then again I have not upgraded it yet via Xur. Btw I'm not at all good at pvp but I do enjoy control. Focus on the kills and let the others on the team get their kills and capture/defend points is what I did and it was less stressful than the Pocket Infinity pvp bounty task.

If you have ever farmed and or faced mass waves of enemies in which bullets is a must then hellz ya it's worth it. P.s little secret? Extra super energie it's like omg kill ten enemies nova bomb or super of choice.

Kills get you points, killing warlocks gets you bonus points. Assists count. Won't take long at all. Progress never resets or reduces. One of the easier bounties.
