Does anyone else feel that the VOG has much more depth to it than Crota's End?
Depth in terms of:
• Generally more well thought out
• Fluidity and coherence of sections
• Gameplay mechanics and obstacles
• Better teamwork and cooperation with defined roles
• Actual related story and lore
• Historical references and links to mythology
VOG seems to much more thought out and related to the actual (albeit hashed) story of Destiny whereas Crota's just seems like something they've dreamt up overnight and included simple obstacles to keep us entertained.
The best analogy I can think of is that:
VOG is like a band's first album; they've spent 10 years working on it and perfecting it, finally got the formula to break through in to the mainstream. Whereas Crota's is like the second album; where they've had to quickly create 10 tracks to keep their fan base and maintain revenues to keep their record labels happy enough.

VoG had all this cool shit about Kabr and how he put his remaining light into a vex shield and sent it into the timestream. Crota's End - Kill this dude so he won't kill us. Only one person survived because Crota is so strong
