Is Eidolon Ally any good?

I have spent over 8 hours farming the Fist of Crota and still have yet to get it, is it worth wasting anymore of my time? Alright thanks I am not going to waste any more of my time then

I got lucky and got two without having to farm ... Dint bother farming for it its an ok weapon more glitz than actual DPS
