Human Dead for Centuries?

Has there been ANY clarification so far as to how a decades/centuries-old corpse was still on the surface, intact, and brought to life? Am I missing something?? Will I have to spend hundreds of dollars and years of time to get the answer? I get most games tend to start you off in a fog, but as time passes, the story clears up your origins, reveals the 'whys' and 'hows' and sets a foundation. What did I miss?

  • Um if they can bring us back from being vaporized by fusion rifles 20 times in 10 minutes the initial revive shouldn't be an issue

    • That beginning was supposed to be the exo beginning. So it technically should have been a robot.

    • Well it's plural, so minimum 200 years. Also you would be amazed at how much genetic data can still be in even a skeleton depending on the conditions its in. Not to mention we have no idea how advanced the genetic scanning and sequencing tech a ghost uses is. Although all things considered I would say it's pretty damn advanced.

      • Our bodies have been perfectly preserved in our armor because they are spacesuits and no enemies rely on puncturing our armor more blunt impact to kill us

          • Making some sense, but again, if we're talking 200+ years and god knows how many dead and unimaginable destruction, then it seems SUPER convenient to find an intact body on the surface to be resurrected to blindly kill stuff. I've read so many grimoire and put an embarrassing amount of time into the game, but I just don't get it!
