Does anyone still use ARs these days?

Dude that AR.. you just needed to look at the stats to see its garbage. It has not one, but two perks related to stability and still doesn't max it ? spray and pray on a whole new level if you ask me (and a lot of praying on that). I could take out my old Shingen-E with maxed out stability *and* the persistence perk *and* a usable scope for headshots and I would trunce that IB weapon all day long.

honestly the silimars wrath is great. Its high rate of fire yes, but its stability is almost perfect. Im doing very well with it and its beating out a lot of the bigger names like SUROS. Im consistently top of the charts with it and its not even to full damage yet

Higher Impact = Lower Firing Rate Can't have both. It's not Auto-Rifle master race.

No, because everyone will cry OP in pvp so it will get nerfed to uselessness in raid matchmaking but everyone will still use it in pvp anyway.

ok so i really hope this wil be the last time i have to explain this on this forum but im sure it wont be since everyone loves to cry that things arent perfect. BUNGIE DID NOT NERF THE AUTO RIFLE CLASS. the new style auto rifles are not a response to over use of high impact auto rifles in the crucible. the new auto rifles are not a response to people crying on the forums that things like the vanquisher killed to quickly. This is a preexisting weapon type that previously was left out of the legendary and exotic world. At release there was only one of this weapon type with a higher than blue rarity level, that weapon was the play station exclusive auto rifle the Monte Carlo. the influx of the moderate rate of fire moderate impact auto rifles since the release of "The Dark Below" expansion is in response to the fact that Bungie mistakenly did not include any legendary or exotics of this type at launch with the exception of the Monte Carlo. At release one of the more common auto rifles used in the crucible was the hushwind D this is the same style of weapon these new auto rifles are based on. Bungie was in no way trying to force AR wielders to use this style and they did try to leave some options open since they left the vanquisher available and some of the max rate of fire weapons available, im sure they figures between the vanquisher and the available upgrade to the suros regime high impact fans would be able to accomplish what they were looking for. the true mistake on bungies part wasnt adding alot of these weapons to the game all at once it was just simply the issue of they flooded the market with them so thoroughly that people assumed that these were going to be the new norm at least one other vendor weapon should have been high impact but it should have been a new high impact like replace the shadow price with a new variation of that style of weapon. Im sorry so many people misunderstand what is happening with this but it will get better i promise. With the release of the next DLC we will see a new more balanced mixture of all three of the autorifle variations and all will be well again. Bungie sorry but you did really screw the pooch when you only left one low rate of fire vendor option open. Sorry again guys but dont worry your beloved high impact autos will be back with a vengeance.

The vanquisher viii is still good specially if you get it through an engram.
