Reforging Efrideet's Spear
Well, the goal is to replace the Icebreaker with a non-exotic weapon and after 30 reforges i realized that i'm not sure what perks i need to get a good PvE sniper (but i've realized that many cool perks are not in the RNG pool, sadly).
I'm surely going for arch damage, ambush scope and field scout, but what about the rest? Maybe surplus + spray&play can give me that "fire and forget" feeling like with the icebreaker? What are your suggested perks for a PvE sniper rifle?

1 ReplyI'm wondering about the rodeo perk, but it doesn't seem to affect the recoil very much.. and mote of light are finishing too; well i think we listed the best perks, seems surplus is not very liked though

You want spray and play w/ final round. Use the 3 shot clip to your advantage. The last shot is a guaranteed 1hko body shot in crucible.

Field scout, firefly, fast reload. That would be my choices.

Spray and play would be great. Field scout is a must on that gun.

3 Repliesthe default bought one's pretty good ,a good scope for distance ,surplus is the first perk,your choice between high impact ammo,AP ammo,and perfect balance(which bungie had changed while I owned the gun because the third option was ricochet rounds)and the final upgrade is firefly,so it's pretty kick ass on it's own and it does solar damage.
