How do you build your armor?
How do you do it? what perks do you aim for? do you stack certain stats or try to have a balance?

Warlock: Discipline, Strength Hunter: Intellect, Discipline Titan: Strength, Intellect If you look at my warlock he almost has no intellect at all, but I use Bad Juju and Obsidian Mind when Voidwalker and I don't really care when Raidiance comes up as long as I have it if I die. My Titan is usually on Defender so I want to put up that bubble as much as I can. I use Saint 14, and just melee the shit out of everything in the bubble. Hunters advantage is clearly the supers they offer. Melee is shit and grenades are mediocre. I prefer to have intellect at 100% here with discipline being the next most important.

4 Repliesaesthetics combined with function... in other words, it's gotta look good and work well... i replaced my iron banner leg regalia because i like the look and i gotta have knucklehead to compliment my patience and time - i'm going for the iron banner exotic look combined with alternating gheleons demise and silimar's wrath.

For my hunter I try to have more intellect and discipline

I try to run armor that gives me 100% discipline and as much intellect as possible no strength. I use a bladedancer with fast twitch, so strength is pretty useless. Also look for things that increase handcannon carrying capacity and reload speed.

1 ReplyI was trying to max intellect and discipline. Once I hit 100% intellect I realized how low strength was. Now I'm trying to balance by switching some gear to discipline strength. But I'd prefer intellect the highest, then discipline, then strength. Especially for my warlock.

I try and hit 50% flat for all 3 if i can, but i'll go discipline>int>strength in that order for everything but titan and gunslinger (I like throwing knives ok?)

Based on the weapons I'm using I go for the armor that boosts them with quick reload ect. I don't need to look cool [spoiler] it helps lol[/spoiler] I'd rather be in sync and have everything compliment each other

Assault Rifle Striker Titan Crucible Helmet (Int/Disc): 33 Light : Melee Replenishes Nades : Nades Replenish Special Iron Banner Gauntlets (Intel/Disc): 33 Light : Melee Replenishes Nades : Assuslt Rifle Rapid Reload Artamantium Chest Exotic (Strength) : 36 Light : Xtra Heavy Weapon and Special Ammo : 2 Nades Future War Cult Boots (Intel/Disc) : 33 Light : Xtra Assault Rifle Ammo Weapon: Grimm Citizen Kills Replenish Nades Rapid Reload This build basically gets you too Level 31 Relies on no Strength (accept pesky chest, but need double nades) Nades are constantly refreshing through melee and AR kills as well as high Disc Special is replenishing through Nade Kills as well as high Int Still working on building a PvE heavy Defender Build but this is my Striker PvP build. I would murder a Unicorn for a Suros 331dmg with the samd perks as my Grimm (or any comparable high Impact/Ranged AR)

Well my build has always been an intellect build.

Intellect first and foremost. Then for pve perks for scout, fast reload and more ammo. For pvp auto but I use blues in all my toons with high intellect and auto stats. The only looks that come into it is I like my IB gear so I'll use that for everything as it gets my hunter to 30 apart from high level stuff when I use vendor gear. If I modify looks it's in the class item and shader I use.

don't even look at the appearance. go for disc and intel if I'm lucky enough to find it. try to find armour with increased heavy, scout, sniper amo if I'm lucky enough. traded my intel, disc helm for one with str. the grenade kills restore supery energy seemed worth the swap.

For crucible, you'll build your super quickly by getting kills so no need to focus on intellect. You need your abilities to get them efficiently. As a sunsinger I try to max out strength so that I can always get my flame shield and discipline comes second since with voidfang vestments and the right perk you can spawn with two grenades. Crank the agility up to max and recovery second, inside the crucible armor means next to nothing (at least I don't really feel a difference).

2 RepliesDiscipline discipline discipline. Intellect can tag along if it's a 2 stat item. Strength can be 0 for all that it matters. Current setup has me around an 80% buff for both intellect and discipline and 20% for strength.
