Buy season pass Make one of each class and get them all to 31, which you can now do by purchasing a full set of tower gear/exotics Rank all factions up to 3 Do all story missions for all characters Run strikes on roc playlist The do Vault of glass Then do Crotas End Enjoy crucible

Quickest way to level up is to do loads of bounties that you collect in the tower, they give easy XP. Think they're unlocked at about level 4 or something. Patrol missions also give easy XP whilst doung bounties. Don't worry too much about buying better weapons/armour until you're about level 15 or so. You'll get better ones drop just from playing. When you reach level 20 you want to get armour that contains 'light' - best buying the legendary stuff from tower vendors which will cost vanguard or crucible marks (and rank 2+ which you should hopefully have from doing bounties). XP is then only useful for levelling up guns and armour. Equip the stuff you want to level up before cashing bounties in. Rinse and repeat. Enjoy.

After you hit rank 3 and get one commendation for each the Crucible and Vanguard, choose a faction to rank up and buy their class item to gather rep. Faction gear gives you a better chance to use a gear set with better perk set for you playstyle. Choose you gear according to your playstyle. Choose you weapons according to the type of matches you do more, Pve or Pvp, some weapons are just good for any mode: Vanquisher, Last Word, Jolders Hammer, etc. Weekly strike is an important source for strange coins so you can buy that sweet exotic gear from Xur on fridays. Priorize aquiring exotic armor first and only after get an exotic weapon. Dismantle everything you dont like or dont really need. Youll need the materials and glimmer later.

2 RepliesMake the game what you want it to be. If you enjoy RPGs roam the different environments and slay the DARKNESS and gather equipment based on your path. If you like Multiplayer PVP, You got the crucible and Iron Banner when it pops up. People are going to bash the game, but it is a good game. Addicting as crap!

2 RepliesDon't let other people ruin the game for you. I you agree with criticism, cool. If not, it doesn't make you a CoD fanboy. Have fun. Play the Vanguard as much as you can to increase you rank after you reach 20. Stay away from the Crucible (it's a jungle in there).

2 Replies-Story til lvl 5 -Grind Crucible til lvl 20 -Grind more Crucible for Marks and Commendations for Armor and Weapons -??? -Profit [spoiler]My Warlock leveled this way, by far my favorite way to level My titan did straight PvE (story, strikes) and my hunter (first character) did a mix of both [/spoiler] I recommend an Auto Rifle or Pulse rifle starting out. Hell, the Khustov or w/e the first one is will hold its own in Crucible As you level, feel free to try Scout Rifles and Hand Cannons, pick what you like best and get better with it. Clash (6v6 Team Deathmatch) and Control (Pretty much Clash with control points) are good to start, when you get confident you can try Rumble (6 way Free-for-all) and Skirmish (3v3 Deathmatch with slower respawn but you can revive teammates) Good luck Guardian, I'll see you amongst the stars! (If you're on XB1, gt is same as name here if you need a Crucible Buddy)

Story, or at least what they call story. Strikes and vanguard strike playlist Vault of glass once you are lvl27 Everthing else is locked behind DLC.
