are all communities like this?

Full disclosure: I've never really been part of a game community or read forums before. And to tell the truth I'm only part of this one because destiny is confusing and they don't explain anything. So I have to ask questions and search for answers like: "Would some one please explain the currencies to me again... I want to know what I need to farm for the new expansion." Seriously, think about it... New people are -blam!-ed in this game! Anyway the normal rotation is that the community gets in forums and complains about a lot of stuff. Deej tells us how many people like the game and brags and throws out numbers and says they are listening. But never addressed the complaints directly. The debs make changes that makes things worse and rarely address the true concerns that the forums seem to agree on. And if they do it shows a complete disconnect from the audience. (Like promising more story in the dlc but double down on exposition before the mission and don't include a single cut scene). Then the fans get mad and turn on each other in the forums. I never felt like a company cared less about its fans. They seem so arrogant sometimes. But maybe it's just because I read the updates and the forums. Maybe all companies are like this and that's what communities do and are ignored. To be fair they have put in place several updates. Has bungie ever responded to the ratings and criticism the dlc and game has gotten?
