Third subclass super-charge ideas (that don't suck.)

Titan subclass 3: "Cinder." (Radiance type mode) Begin duel wielding solar powered shotguns with explosive rounds (47 damage per pellet along with 23 for splash damage) with a 25% aversion to damage. Duration:20 seconds/4 rounds per shotgun. Hunter subclass 3: "Abysswalker" (Bladedancer type mode) Become consumed by the void upon activating a jump causing you to fly into the air whilst leaving the void dropping powerful grenades on your way down. Duration 2 uses or 20 seconds. (Would drop 7 grenades in a carpet bomb fashion dealing 192 damage leaving a 13 damage AoE bleeding effect.) Warlock sublcass 3: "Static Spark" (Fist of Havoc type mode) Lightning surges through your hands and causes an enormous thunderclap that damages and pushes back enemies around you (166 damage in crucible) along with storm clouds that will remain (10 seconds) that continuously zap enemies with powerful lightning. Tell me what you think, and if you would use these.

  • Ideally if third subclasses were to come. These wouldn't be it. And these kind of stink. (No offense) The third subclasses would probably be Hunter - Support Warlock - Close range Titan - Long range Dude to each class already having two of the three listed above.

    • Titans need a ranged super. Check. Warlocks need a close ranged super. Check. Hunters need a support super. Nope. Also, they're not called super - charges.

      • I like the name for titan. My super suggestion, however, would be dramatically increased movement speed and a flame shield with a radius of several feet that does a dot aoe. Could also extend to nearby teammates, albeit less powerful in scope. Also allows titan to use a flame thrower with short-medium range that does severe damage while in effect AND leaves burning effect.

      • The Warlock Subclass is pretty much what I was thinking of, sort of like a shockwave that damages and pushes enemies pack. Really hoping for a Uni-Beam for my Titan (Think Iron Man) that Insta-kills most mobs and has decent mods, (Screw the Voidwalker's mods for Nova Bomb) like leaving a trail of fire on the ground or doubling the radius of the beam. No idea about the Hunter, but I feel like it should be a little more support oriented. I know several Hunters that wish they had some way to help their allies like a Defender or Sunsinger can.

      • There should be an exotic gun called The Chameleon that has the elemental damage of which ever subclass is currently equipped by the user.

        • I was thinking for Titans what would be cool is some large, portable, fiery, deflecting-of-projectiles riot shield sort of thing. It would replace your weapons, but you and a few teammates could charge in behind it, and not worry about being shot too much.

        • From what I've observed, Hunters always have a mobile super, Titans always have a one-use-and-done, immobile style super, and Warlocks always have an AoE super. My personal hopes for subclasses and abilities are in the spoiler below if anyone wants to check them out. [spoiler] Titan (Berserker) Mark of Flame - Creates a 360 degree circular wall of fire around a mark placed where the super is activated. The wall deals burn DoT to any enemy passing through it. The wall can be shot through but not seen through, like a smokescreen. Possible upgrades to height and width of the wall, radius of the circle, and duration of the DoT effect. Hunter (Bloodtracker) Tracker's Gift - Allows the user to see enemies through walls (like during a crucible death when you can see the outline of your killer) within a 20 ft. radius, but narrows peripheral vision. Possible upgrades to radius of x-ray vision, duration of the super, and movement speed. Warlock (Shocktrooper) Static Shield - Creates a 360 degree rotating shield around the user (think really tiny Hydra shield that only covers 1/4 of the way round) that emits AoE lightning damage when shot or melee'd by enemies. Note that lightning would only damage enemies currently in front of the shield in a cone-like fashion. Possible upgrades to the range that the lightning reaches, duration of lightning emission, and duration of the super itself. These are just my ideas, some might be a little OP compared to others, but I tried to balance those abilities as best as I could. All (constructive) thoughts and suggestions are welcome, and please leave some feedback for the OP as well.[/spoiler]

          • I just want a void subclass for hunters. I'd still use bladedancer because void is kind of forgotten about in the new dlc but I still want it for nightfall and vog.

                  I want a titan super that summons a fire spirt of an Ahamkara, ride it and wield a solar lance.

                    Titan: Mauler. Unleashes a hulk clap that is so fast and intense it ignites the air around them and sends roaring flames forward in a flash of destruction. Leaving charred remains and magma in its wake. [i]"There was only two other sources of heat being cited as intense as the Titans fury, the stars and the fiery breath of the ancient Ahamkara, Stjarna-mjolnir, the eater of worlds."[/i] Melee: strike of immolation, a very close combat hit that's an uppercut, blasting the target upward with such force that they explode upon death. Grenades: Cryo-tank - An odd choice for a Titan obsessed with fire, it freezes enemies solid and when a sudden increase of heat is applied, the victims shatter and melt to nothing. Molotov - The fuel for these grenades are said to come from the gastric chamber of captured dragons. Whether true or not, when something is covered in the liquid, it's best to flee fast because if you catch flame, everything you touch will as well. Tar... It's bad enough to be slow, worse off to be stuck in it if it starts boiling.
