I sacrifice my son every time I pull out.

Of course i would. God, being God, is not violent without reason. If He asked me to sacrifice my son, i would do it, knowing that: 1) My son would go to heaven, which would be better than growing up in this corrupted and sinful world we live in 2) An act toward God of this magnitude could be used to convert countless numbers of people 3) God would only do this if an undeniably just reason was behind it. God is not some big man in the sky who simply enjoys testing the faithfulness of humanity for fun and games. We dont have to prove anything to God. This is not some big game where if He says "this", i have to do "that" or im going to Hell. We simply have to accept the love that was poured out to us when Jesus (who, in turn, is God in the flesh) sacrificed himself for us. And for the post a few down from this one, Jesus experienced the pain and anguish of both being forsaken by His very father and death. Its not like Jesus rose from the dead and he went back to leading a mortal life and all was fine and well. The fact that He rose from the dead is irrelevant in this argument; the fact that he died is.

I don't have a son and don't plan on having one

Hell no I'm not killing anybody

YEAH.

.....no
-
I thought about this when I was Christian and the answer is no I wouldn't
-
Thats a tough one, if I knew it was for sure God talking to me then yes
-
I thought about this when I was a Christian, My answer is definitely no. There's no way a "kind" and "loving" God would tell me to sacrifice my own flesh and blood.

Wondering where this is going.... Biblical or binding or isaac? Lol

I would struggle with this. But in the end, I would hope I would be loyal enough to obey my Lord
