8 RepliesOk so I made a warlock. Then a titan. Then a hunter. Didn't really play as anything but my warlock till lvl 29. Then I lvled both my hunter and titan to lvl 26 and did the VoG raid. That same week I decided I didn't really like the play style of those classes. so I deleted them and made 2 more warlocks. I figured well, since I'm going through all the content on other characters might as well make them characters I enjoy playing as. But then my bro was doing some awesome work with the titan bubble and kinda wanted to give it a second chance. So I deleted my last warlock and made a titan who currently sits at lvl 29 and can't go further because lack of PLASTEEL Plating- seriously no joke. I have armor for 31 but can't upgrade. I've actually been considering deleting my second warlock to make a hunter but I just can't bring myself to do it. I just don't like hunters. So let me get this straight. I'm cheating - because at one point I had 3 characters of the same class just because I enjoyed the playstyle more. I'm cheating because I managed to get at least 4 full sets of raid gear that I maxed every single piece of so I could swap stat lvls and perks on my character. You're sense of cheating is that I skipped a bunch of levels on a new character. I hope you realize that I gave my Titan full set of legendary gear and an exotic as soon as he lvled up to 20. Gotta love those purple random engrams right? so that's cheating too? Lol idk why I'm even typing this all out. I don't even care what you call cheating because in all honesty the only real cheating going on in the game involves crota kneeling forever... Since that involves glitching vs just cheesing him within the game mechanics. Yay I'm too tired to go to bed post.

1 ReplyHow is it cheating if we're allowed to create three of the same character? I see no lock on my characters. I see no patches fixing this "cheat". Just seeing threads like these make me want to make a third Titan. I probably will for when the next DLC comes out.

If you don't want insults or threats then don't insult another gamer just because they wanna game they wanna game. Everyone here has a strategy, I have 2 warlocks maxed out. What's wrong with that? Absolutely nothing. I switched gear between the two until they both had lvl 30+ gear.

You realize that Bungie only cares to have people playing this game. They ALLOW US to change items between characters for us to have multiple characters. Who cares if we want to choose 2 of the same character so we can increase our chances? We still need to complete the missions etc and spent time on the game.

creating 3 of the same characters and passing your duplicate gear is 100% allowed by the developers so your whole "its cheating" story is nothing but baseless fiction. swapping over any upgraded weapon by your logic is also cheating as you are skipping the "attack" level up process on the receiving character. if you have ever transferred a weapon that was not basic then please hang your head in shame, you skipped hours of grinding

7 RepliesLook I'm gonna be sensible and tell you, people play the game in different ways. Some ways have more advantages over others. It's like a diet. You can't just tell off someone for eating an apple when you have only decided to eat oranges. And if you do criticise the way people play, they'll come at you. We all have had our fair shares of troubles. We all have the opportunity to play like someone else if we wanted to. So don't tell other they cheat or whatnot...because if they did cheat I'm sure it'll be up to bungie to ban them. Cheer up buddy :) get off the forums for a bit. Go grab a bite to eat. No stats change on your base player. All that is changing is how they look (which is the only appeal to me to even think of doing it). That's why this argument is stupid. That, and the fact that if Bungie DIDN'T want you to do it, they never would have allowed you to pick the same class for multiple slots. That's remedial level programming.
