Remove the 1 Exotic item equipped restriction
Exotics are not that much better than a legendary, sometimes I would say not even as good. If you've done the hard work to obtain the exotics then you should be able to equip as many as you like at the same time. I don't see how this could harm the game in any way.

Weapons have no light level so it's really easy. At least 2 out of 3 would be nice.

Agree should be able to run an exotic on every slot of weapons and armor, but that will never happen bc this game is balanced,?? Right???

Because then like everyone else is saying there's just gonna be Ice breakers and gjallahorns everywhere and there just won't be any diversity making things not fun.

1 Replyin all honesty.. for pve.. i really can't see how this would hurt. even with armor.. lets say you have exotic helm, gauntlets, chest, and a pair of raid boots.. it'll put you to 32.. so you're not breaking the game by light level... and if you should try to go to pvp like that.. it should force you to unequip the extras to fit back into the 1 exotic rule.... same w/ weapons.. in pve.. i don't see how carrying 3 exotic weapons would hurt anything as none of them are "game breaking" except the mythoclast BEFORE it was nerfed. ... and again.. when you try for pvp.. it should wrap you back down to 1 exotic weapon at once.. as long as they could find a way to implement it like this - i see no issue at all wearing full exotics for pve.

because there would be a "correct build" the 1 exotic limit is to make you choose 1 exotic depending on your playstyle and then have the rest of your gear based off that so that they maybe a best build for each exotic but not 1 definitive build per class in short to ensure player variety (too bad this is undermined by raid gear just being better so that the best build becomes full raid gear + 1 exotic)

Yeah, for PVE there is no reason to limit them. They're rarely better then Legendaries, let alone good enough to muck with the equipment restrictions.

This should have always been the case. I can't believe bungie ever thought players would have been happy only being able to use 1 at a time. Max light should have accounted for multiple exotics. Same goes for weapons. The class items should have been more than just cosmetic or faction designators. They should have been craftable for perk/player customization. So much about this games loot/level system is garbage.

Can't do it in PvP. That's too much. But I wouldn't mind being able to use 2+ in pve. Mainly for upgrading purposes. Or if they didn't take away my ammo when I switched from one exotic to another in pve. Then I could reasonable work on 2 exotic guns at a time.

They can't do that for amour because of light level, The would need to remove light level from the game otherwise you will have LvL 32's running everywhere overnight

Yep I agree and raid gear should be exotic as well and have major advantage in raids.

They remove it for weapons the armor part it's ok I guess but I would love to have my icebreaker and the last word

I think it should be a weapons only thing. 1 exotic armor piece is good. But weapons you can only use 1 at a time anyway so no stacked buff like you could get with armor. I would also accept quick select. Maybe make use of that fancy touch pad on the ps4 controller and the whatever is special on xbone controllers. Don't know if they changed besides shape

2 RepliesI disagree. 1 exotic limits are the only things preventing every guardian from wearing and using everything the EXACT same... Besides its the perks that make exotics slightly better than legendaries. If you could mix all the perks together you'd have gods walking around. Exotics allow players to express play styles. For example I love my two grenades chest. If I want to have some fun as a striker I put on my inner light helm. I like that I have to make conscious choices at least with something in this game.
