Looking to prove a Theory, need confirmation...
So, after a total of 5 hours of trying to get the Husk of the Pit with my lv 30 warlock for the first time and still not getting it, and watching my clan getting it with their lv 31 characters within the hour, I've developed a theory on that to get the Husk of the Pit you HAVE to be lv 31 or higher, can i get people to prove/disprove my theory?
Hoping it isn't just that the RNG really hates me and won't let me have the blasted thing...

I farmed the fist of crota mission about 3-4 hours till I just gave up. I decided to try the moon patrols because thats where a majority seem to be getting the husk of the pit. The second blade of crota blessed me with my own husk of the pit. As for your theory, its RNG just like anything else in the game and level doesn't influence the drop rate. I've seen a few people under 30 with it. Just keep trying if you really want it. You'll get it eventually. Good luck!

4 RepliesIts been said that only 2 people have it who played the demo version of the DLC. Saw a video on youtube about it, but its like...a 0.001% chance of it dropping. And to upgrade it you need Crota's Bane at rank 4 to acquire an item. Even if you got it, you wouldnt be able to upgrade it for a while.

Received mine killing Urzok at skywatch. I stopped and helped a guardian that I seen struggling. I killed Urzok and it popped up on the screen as a reward.

you get it from blades of crota it drops like a raid one so will appear at the side off your screen doesnt matter what level you are. farm the fist of crota mission on earth
