elemental for all exotics

Hello Bungie, I was thinking about exotic weapons, more specifically, primary exotics and how they feel a little underpowered in player vs environment.* With the weekly night falls I find myself using a raid weapon from vault of glass as a primary every time a weekly nightfall happens. The new raid weapons from Crota are nice but only good for Hive majors. An exotic should be a great all around weapon as you only get to equip one at a time. Sure some people collect them, for instance I have thorn, hawkmoon, invective, 4th horseman, patience and time, thunderlord, and dragons breath. I used to have way more before the exotic changes but I needed exotic shards and to make room for the new stuff I wanted more, so I have dismantled 5-6 exotic weapons to make room and be more specialized (Hand Cannons). In example I love Crucible and suros rigme is great for Crucible, but I dismantled it because I have more fun with hand cannons.** However I feel the primaries lack in other areas, so I purpose elemental damage be added to primary exotics to make them feel more... Exotic. Hawkmoon - Arc Thorn - Void The Last Word - Solar No Land Beyond - Void Bad JuJu - Void Suros Rigme - Arc Monte Carlo - Solar Hard Light - Solar MIDA Multi-Tool - Arc Red Death - Void Universal Remote - Arc*** Making these changes fits the weapons and also makes having one a lot more valuable to the owner. I feel these changes would make the Exotic weapons that you can only equip one of makes them feel more legendary and more desirable especially for weapons like bad juju. Which lets be honest a lot of people will not take the time to obtain in current state, but add void damage to it and you suddenly make the demand for that gun go through the roof and something people will be proud to own. I really like the way Necrochasm is being handled and feel it will be a weapon people will be proud to own because of the steps required to obtain it. I'd like to see other exotics see similar pride of ownership and people enjoying the work they put into obtaining one. *not sure if this has been proposed before so I apologize if it has. If not please help me convince Bungie to make these changes. **Also to my knowledge elemental damage does not effect Crucible in any way so these changes would not make a particular weapon over-powering in the Crucible. ***You know since this is the "Universal Remote" it would also be fitting for you to be able to change its damage type between all three; arc, solar, and void; but that's probably asking for too much.

    • Hard light should obviously be arc. The bullets are kinda blue anyway

    • Raid guns are the only primaries that will ever have elements. If they did this raid primaries would have almost no use to them.
