obsidian helmet is old
There was a helmet sold by the pre-dlc crucible vendor that looked the exact same, but this one is black. What a shitty thing to do, bungie.
Thumb this up, so that bungie knows we know.

1 ReplyIt is an example of terribly lazy design as it's simply the old vanguard helmet reskinned.... [b]However[/b], it is also the embodiment of OP in helmet form. Fooling around with a friend in the first part of Crota's End while wearing it, I had a super at nearly every lamp - often [b]immediately[/b] after using Nova Bomb. Even outside of Crota's End I now use Nova Bomb more than grenades.

The crucible helmet was my favorite Warlock helmet anyway, now it looks way more awesome in black :) No complaints here.

3 RepliesHad you not realized all of the armor is more or less recycled? Look at the Vanguard armor - two types per slot, almost exactly the same with minor add ons such as fins or whatnot. That's this game, unfortunately.

Not only gear but have you seen the ship you get from Crota? It's just an aspect of glass with bony armor plates and green lights. C'mon man, where's the creativity..
