Crota is easy to beat. Don't know why you guys have to cheese him...

I do it both ways. Usually the majority wants to cheese so i'm just like whatever. First raid i finished was legit. It's a good way to beat it. Teaches you how to survive and finish when they patch it. I'm interested in cheesing it so i can find out about the gatekeepers that spawn.

I've don't it both ways and really dont give a shit if the team I'm with wants to do it. Not much of a choice when you use lfg and majority rules. Whatever though watching these kids rage at people cheesing is pretty amusing lol

We can beat him so quick the legit way. 10-12 hits with the sword in barely 2 possessions. Earlier I was power slamming him for almost 23k damage, it took 2 hits of the second possession to take him down. Next time we are going to attempt a single possession because the last raid I still had plenty of time after taking his shield down the 3rd time. Before I was 32 it only took 3 possessions so going legit really is easier than cheesing...

4 RepliesMy team can beat crota in around 8 minutes. Maybe even less if everyone is on fleek. He's not hard at all. Just put 2 or 3 horns on him, keep grenades on the boomer tower, run middle when the ogres come. Badabing badaboom you're done in under 10.

Cheese is a delicious food. I assume what you're referring to is the exploitation of a known bug in the boss mechanic. In this case I do not support exploits but I do support cheese...

1 ReplyIdk I think it's more fun to just run it legit depending on the group. If I'm with randoms and they want to cheese I let them. If I'm with the people I've beaten Crota normally multiple times we don't cheese. We normally kill him first try

3 RepliesIt's the Templar all over again. People will forget how to do it and complain that it's too hard. If you have to unplug a guy's connection to cheat and beat a game, why even play? What's the point? To save time? Videos games ARE recreational activities, why not just enjoy the game?

2 RepliesAt this point, I rather fail the raid for the week than cheese another mission. It sucks when you join a raid and you have no other option except cheese or find another group- seems that's what the majority want now. I only play the game for the fun of the challenge, and once that's gone there's no satisfaction in beating a boss. Sure I get frustrated when I don't get the gear I want; but it won't mean much when I barely did anything to get it. Raids are pretty much the last thing to do in the game, and once you cheat and rush through it, there's really nothing left to do. Rather just take my time becoming better without exploits and not ruin the experience, whether it's the first or twenty first raid.

Beat him legit 6 times (twice on each character) over the last two lockouts, then have helped friends cheese him with me being the host. While I don't mind people cheesing I prefer my kills to be legit so 6 clears only

1 ReplyIt's not even difficult legit to be honest. 3 sword runs and it's done. Cheesing is a lot easier and quicker though.

3 RepliesMy team doesn't cheese Crota. We find its more entertaining to do it legit to practice for hard mode. Plus we always change the sword bear so others can give it a go. Now the bridge...lol haven't done that legit since the raid came out
