What do you need from Xur?
I personally really don't need nothing just my bad juju and upgrade my HawkMoon or found new one. I don't need gear as you can see

Two exotic shards. One for sun breaker and another for mask of the third man. I already have two PAT and clearly already have two exotic amor pieces so don't need another.

Xur will never sell the Gjallarhorn, Why ? cause it senses peasants and will never fall into their hands :) this is why us Elite Gjallarhorn owners respect how amazing it is to own this glorious weapon.
