Heavy Ammo Bug

Platform: Xbox One Description: When boots that give extra heavy ammo increase are equipped when you die, load, or change area the ammo reduces by 2 until you get to 1 heavy ammo left. Steps to reproduce: Equip boots with heavy ammo increase perk. Take heavy ammo synth DIE your ammo will reduce by 2 die again your ammo will reduce by 2 and again die ammo will reduce by 2 once the ammo is at 1 it will no longer reduce. Only work around is to unequip the boots with heavy ammo perk and not use them. But seeing how the raid boots have this perk they need to be equipped to reach max light level. This needs to be addressed Im wasting way to much glimmer getting heavy ammo synths to replace the lost heavy especially when raiding.

  • It's not a bug. It's by design. A penalty for dying. I had no ammo bonus gear and full RL ammo at 4 and was downed and revived during the Nightfall which took a rocket away. Got downed again shortly after and lost another rocket. This has always been the case. The amount taken at death seems to differ based on how much you or your launcher could/were holding at time of death. With my launcher that holds 6 total, I normally notice a loss of 2 rockets per death.
