Simple question: do you remember the last time a legendary engram dropped for you? I sure as Santa dont. I know I've gotten 1 legendary to drop. Maybe 2, in my entire career with Destiny. I have never gotten an exotic engram. I don't even know if they still exist. They're like unicorns to me now. Perhaps the RNG gods simply are not smiling upon me. Anyway, this is simply a general inquiry.
EDIT: It seems like some of the community feels the drop rates for legendaries have been increased, if even slightly, for the DLC content or at least since the DLC went live. One theme that keeps popping up is acquisition of said legendary engrams during ROC strike playlist. Now we're not running a verifiable poll here, but it seems there is at least anecdotal evidence to suggest the drop rates have improved in said playlist. Any additional thoughts on this? Post below!

Edited by Joker_Karasu: 12/19/2014 1:36:14 AMIt's become extremely rare that I'll get a legendary engram from a cryptarch level up. Though I did get one from Vanguard ROC. I noticed something though on the legendary engram, there was a possibility that it could become a rare. I thought this was removed a couple patches ago? The engram ended up becoming TFWPKY 1969, legendary hand cannon which is decent but I already have Thorn at 321 so I'm hard pressed to use it. Oh well, I can dust off my Gjarllarhon.
