Got it from a blade of crota on earth. My first kill as I logged in post-patch.
UPDATE:
The "cannibalism" perk that requires the "embalming orb" needs a [i]ridiculous[/i] amount of XP to upgrade.
I just turned in over 40k of experience and it barely moved it.
UPDATE 2:
Cannabalism perk says: "the husk exudes a sense of sinister satisfaction when used to expire it's former allies."
Seems like you can get upgrade it via hive XP kills.
UPDATE 3:
I've upgraded it into "Eidolon Ally" it needs crux of crota to become exotic.

7 RepliesIt really isn't as hard to find as people are suggesting... I have 1 my friend got 2 just doing the daily bounties of kill the guy... I did it by farming the first DLC mission, got it after 30 minutes... Just do your dailies and it will come, before too long, if not, and you can't wait farm that mission, Fist of Crota, sparrow through past the first section, kill the knight, back to orbit, rinse repeat you will get it within a couple of hours for sure I got mine after 30 mins
