Yip Bethesda makes the best walking simulators the world has ever seen. You can literally hear your foot steps - 10/10 IGN

They make two entirely different types of games, but yeah, I prefer Bethesda. I played their games on Xbox though, so I never had to deal with many game breaking bugs while the PS3 guys are getting screwed because Sony doesn't want to work with Bethesda. "What do you mean the majority of 'bugs' on PS3 were known about prior to Skyrim's launch, what do you mean the PS3 lacked critical memory?" I feel bad for anyone who had their experience ruined by a few of the bugs.

Bethesda made morrowind. Morrowind is amazing. Therefore, Bethesda=amazing
-
No one makes the kind of stories that Bethesda creates, I'll always play a game created by Bethesda game studios.
-
If Bethesda was better I'd have been playing ESO 6 months ago around when pc got it.
-
An Elder Scrolls game with combat as good as Destiny would be the greatest thing to ever happen to gaming.

Bethesda is the master of RPGs, but the combat mechanics in their games are typically subpar. Bungie, on the other hand, sucks at pretty much everything but combat mechanics. Pair the two together and you'll have the perfect game.
-
Why is there need for a discussion? Bethesda hands down.
-
343>Bungie
-
Both are pretty bad honestly lol
-
Bethesdas games have more bugs than bungies
-
Square>bethesda>bungie Of course I am very devoted to square primarily because final fantasy is the only reason why little 5 year old me got into games and more importantly RPGs. All of the companies are great but bungie also feels like a child compared to the other two. So I feel it isn't quite fair to compare bungie to the other well established companies that have taken root in our hearts for many more years than bungie.

Combat nope story yup
-
I've played every ES game so far, including fallout 3 and new vegas. Destiny's been my only Bungie game, but in comparison, they're much different. Bethesda exclusively creates single player games, unlike Bungie, so they can't really be compared very well. In the story department, we all know bungie's got the upper hand. Edited by Swiftlock: 12/18/2014 8:17:22 PMBethesda are no angels. They usually release games with dozens of bugs, some of them game-breaking, and leave it to the devoted mod community to clean them up (on PC). And the combat in Bethesda games is usually pretty clunky and awkward. However, the Elder Scrolls/Fallout series are amazing games with hours of replay-ability if you're into RPG's. You can start a brand new game, make new choices, and wind up with a totally different experience. There's even times where you find yourself with TOO many things to do, and even then, you may get sidetracked and discover something else to do entirely. There's even different ways to solve problems. You can either go in with weapons blazing like an asshole, be stealthy and sneaky, or even be a total pacifist and try to resolve conflicts with peaceful negotiation. It's even entirely possible to beat the main story content of Fallout 3 and New Vegas without killing anyone.

I did not put as many hours into or have as much fun playing Fallout 3 as I do Destiny. Plus, I can enjoy this game with my wife and friends instead of solo. So Bungie > Bethesda there. Elder Scrolls? Definitely love those games but can't compare Halo/Destiny to ES in my opinion. But, ES is my favorite swords and sorcery series that I've played thus far. So maybe for me it's: Bungie > Bethesda @ Co-OP Bethesda > Bungie @ Single Player
-
Naughty dog > everyone else
-
Is this even something to debate about? Bethesda has given us TES & Fallout. I enjoy Destiny and liked Halo 1-3...however if Fallout 4 or TES 6 were to release tomorrow, I would never start up Destiny again. Bethesda games deliver with loads of content even before dlc. Also they don't dictate how players should play their games.
-
I bought all DLC and beat 3/NV many times. Bethesda is amazing.
-
If only Destiny had an amazing huge open world like Skyrims with plenty of lore everywhere...
-
Fallout Four
-
I love both companies personally. Bethesda has my favorite single player games. Bungie makes some of my favorite online games
-
I agree completely. Bethesda is infinitely better than Bungie. They create far more interresting, addictive games than Bungie as well. As soon as The Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, Destiny's destiny will be as my new beer coaster.
