Got it from a blade of crota on earth. My first kill as I logged in post-patch.
UPDATE:
The "cannibalism" perk that requires the "embalming orb" needs a [i]ridiculous[/i] amount of XP to upgrade.
I just turned in over 40k of experience and it barely moved it.
UPDATE 2:
Cannabalism perk says: "the husk exudes a sense of sinister satisfaction when used to expire it's former allies."
Seems like you can get upgrade it via hive XP kills.
UPDATE 3:
I've upgraded it into "Eidolon Ally" it needs crux of crota to become exotic.

Don't get me wrong I love my epilogue but if it was using up my exotic place I really don't think I would ever use it, so unless this has some uber sick perks It can't see it being that great. From what I've read It can cause a random thrall explosion.... So what fatebringer causes everything to explode. What do you think ppl????
