Multiple Classes

Hey there. Just looking for some solid input on this matter. I have one of each class type: 26 Warlock, 25 Hunter, and 30 Titan. Needless to say the Titan is my main character. I mainly made the other two classes because I really love the Queen's gear and class specific items during the event. So I grinded them out and got them to where they are now. However, I haven't really played them since. I know some people have three of the same class, to up their chances of getting raid gear and such, but I'm not too hardcore about wanting to get it all as quickly as possible. On the other side though, part of me feels a bit like a jerk if I was to delete my Warlock and Hunter. I don't know why, but I mean, I made them and I put time and effort into them. I can't just toss them aside like they were a complete waste of time. So I guess what I'm wanting input on, is how many people have three of the same class, or three different classes, and how have you felt about playing the game that way? Has it been worth it? Does it feel like more of a chore playing that way? Would you recommend others to do the same? Thanks for taking the time to read this, and thanks for any and all replies.

  • I also have one of each, but I think I´m gonna put my Hunter to rest. Not delete him, but I can´t see myself playing with him anymore. After the commendation system was implemented, I now need to rep up yet another level (2-3 days of intense rep grind) to get a piece, So... gonna stick to my ´Lock and Titan now. But it was fun until now, and I learned a lot on how to use and NOT to use all subclasses, supers and grenades.

  • I have one of each class. For me what drives the decision is being able to experience gameplay with each, like knowing first hand what it's like to use Titan Fist of Havoc versus Hunter Arc Blade versus Warlock Nova Bomb and to find nuances of each class and each subclass. I started with my Warlock first, and I happen to put most time into it over the others, but I play whichever I'm most in the mood to experience. To me that maximizes my fun from the game.
