Don't hold back on these questions Bungie (About HoW)

If you wish to read as to why I would like these questions answered, read the rest of the thread. If you don't care or have no answers to my questions, just move on to the next thread, no more reading required. If you care to have some of these answered, or have answers yourself, (or if you have questions not mentioned below, post them and i'll add them to the list) please post or bump to keep the thread alive. I'll be revisiting and editing the post if new info is provided. Also, keep in mind HoW drops in early 2015 which is not that far away. Some questions are intended for Users - other questions for bungie. Is it worth raiding many times to get enough mats to upgrade all raid gear and get to lvl 32? (Crota normal requires 1 31s and 5 30's minimum I found. So I'm guessing hard will be 2-3 32s and 4-3 31s) There are no areas outside of the Hard Crota raid that will require you to be level 32, is Bungie planning on implementing any before HoW? Will HoW introduce new Materials? Will the new materials be purchasable? Will HoW Raid require different Materials? Will I be able to purchase or trade mats for these new Raid mats? Will I be able to buy lvl 32 gear as soon as HoW drops? Will I have to upgrade my exotics all over again once HoW drops? Will they require different Mats? What will happen to Radiant Materials once HoW drops, will they ever have a purpose outside of upgrading Crota Raid gear? Is it worth it to just hold at lvl 31 and farm for mats until HoW drops? Seeing as there's no planned expansion that has been announced after HoW, do you all think the next thing will be Destiny 2? If so, I think it would be logical to farm for mats and upgrading whatever would make it easier to farm until HoW drops since there won't be DLC after that, what do you all think? Would you rather do it now and do it all again or work on it now and be ready to do it once and for all when HoW drops? ------------------------------------------------------- Let me first start off by saying that I only have enough time to play a couple of hours per weekdays and a couple more hours during the weekend. Work and other engagements take time away from my beloved Destiny. I seem to only have time for either VOG hard + Crota + nightfall + weekly, or one of these plus a bunch of bounties to level up my weapons and armor. If I go with the VOG hard + crota route, I end up getting materials and new guns but do not get experience to fully upgrade my weapons. If I go the other route, I get plenty of XP and patrol materials but no exotic guns and barely any legendries that I can shard for special mats. Let's not forget that I'll get XP to upgrade my raid gear but no mats to actually upgrade them. With that being said, I need to manage my time on Destiny to have the best and most fun experience I can. I'm currently a level 30 with 2 crota raid pieces. I'll easily be lvl 31 without having to spend any Radiant materials It's exciting to have these 2 pieces and I'm looking forward to leveling them up, however, I'm a little skeptical. It would take countless Crota raid throughs to get enough Radiant materials to upgrade my raid gear and raid weapons. I'm faced with a couple of questions and I've decided to put them at the top for the sole reason to not require a TL:DR. When HoW drops, in hindsight, It may have been better to do one thing over the other. I am hoping to get these questions answered mainly so that I don't get disappointed when the new DLC drops. I'm also trying to gauge the sentiment of the community on the current meta and how the end game is looking. If you also have questions, please post them and I will edit to include them providing they are legitimate. Thanks for reading Bump and like if you think this thread deserves it. Edit 1: Changed normal Crota raid from 2 lvl 31s needed to 1 lvl 31

 • Is it worth raiding many times to get enough mats to upgrade all raid gear and get to lvl 32? Yes, the perks are decent on the armor and weapons. Plus, you are going to want to try and get the best combination of ability perks(INT, STR, DIC) and weapon perks for your playstyle. (Crota normal requires 2 31s and 4 30's minimum I found. So hard will be 2-3 32s and 4-3 31s) There are no areas outside of the Hard Crota raid that will require you to be level 32, is Bungie planning on implementing any before HoW? It doesn't seem that way. There is no guarantee that there will be a level increase when HoW comes out. It may stay the same. Will HoW introduce new Materials? Unsure Will the new materials be purchasable? Doubtful Will HoW Raid require different Materials? Unsure Will I be able to purchase or trade mats for these new Raid mats? Maybe, if they choose to up the damage Will they require different Mats? Nope Is it worth it to just hold at lvl 31 and farm for mats until HoW drops? Plenty to do in game once you hit top level..
