Gave up last night but put on all the gear list below and pick up all the Eris Morn Bounties this morning and was able to get it on my second try. Here is the load out i was using Mission - Fist of Crota Level 28 hard Titan level 30 do to armor rating Helmet - Willbreaker's watch Gauntlets - KnightBone Gaurd Chest - Willbreaker's Resolve Legs - Willbreaker's Greaves Mark - Mark of the Spawn Shader - Predawn Emblem - Blessing of the Knight Killed em with the sword breaker Hope the information helps, good luck guardians hunting the husk .

I just grinded for 2 hours to get on. Then read the comment about the emblem for blessing of the Knights. Bought it equipped it and BAM dropped the first try. Fist of crota with titan on normal using sword breaker eris titan mark equipped and blessing of knights.

2 RepliesYou must sit with the acolytes waiting for the sword dude, then you kill it without touching the acolytes and you get it. But for those who doesn't know yet.. Be prepared to get an awesome weapon at the end of your adventure ! An exotic weapon so precious that everybody tried it once 2 minutes then put it in the vault and never touched ever again. 2 RepliesHUSK OF THE PIT -Most effective way- Don't put on youtube 1) Go to EARTH/PATROL/ROCKET YARD 2) Proceed to the room where he often spawns 3) Sit out in front of the open door and watch 4) When you see 3 acrolytes throw 2 solar greenades 5) Then immediately spawn sparrow and follow next step 6) Run your Time breaker with full speed at Crotas Sword 7) It will explode on his face. hotp drops! works everytime. I have 3 Husk of the pit on my level 31 warlock. DON'T PUT IT ON YOUTUBE

1 ReplyYa I've killed countless amounts of "blades of Crota" and nothing. Class items equipped plus black wax idols consumed and still nothing at all. It's pure luck that I just don't have.

2 RepliesI was gonna give up after trying all afternoon, I gave it one last shot and it dropped!! I don't know if it made a difference but i used a black wax idol and had eris' cloak equiped (hunter). Good luck everyone!

1 ReplyI have killed countless blades and still got nothing. My buddy gets one nearly every time he kills a blade. I'm getting fed up with this game.

i almost accidently deleted it today from the primary weapon inventory... i thought it was a lower weapon than a greeny and first impuls was to delete it.... i think it dropped in the cosmodrome at the divide... doing the erin bounty to kill the hive that carry the blade and waiting for the public event with the devil walker.

I got it with only two hours of grinding. When i got rep 3 with Aries. Bought the upgrade material. i was so happy and, drunk at the time, i thought i held down triangle but to my dismay it was square. Proof! Gone. I've been grinding ever since.

2 RepliesI've not grinded to get this at all until this week, well besides killing Hive Blades on earth and moon for Eris's bounties a lot and not a drop, with the hard mode crota to get the crux to upgrade to Nechrochasm. I spent about 2 hours a day this week across 3 characters trying to get it. After seeing something about vaulting Murmur in the tower, I took my warlock out without mumur equipped at all and got Husk in about 4 attempts. I'll be running my hunter and titan later this evening, leaving Murmur in the tower off both of them and will see what results I get and post back later.

2 RepliesEdited by forkless: 1/17/2015 12:37:47 PMFist of Crota story mode is the fastest way (30 seconds) to get a guaranteed Sword of Crota. Regardless of where people go the drop is RNG so you want to maximise your encounters with Swords of Crota, they have the highest droprate for Husk of the Pit. Feel free however to roam the map though looking for random spawns. *rolls eyes*

YOOO I just got it now! It feels so good. I was doing the vanguard bounty kill hive majors, so I went into the fist of crota mission, killed the minions and then the blade. I'm telling you, last week I spent 5 hours doing fist of crota and got nothing with black wax idol. I had hand Canon analysis on which you can get from zur, and I killed the blade with fate bringer. Good luck to everyone.

So I have been trying Since this dlc has come out and lvled 2 other characters to lvl 30. Farming the shhh out of this thing 3-6 hrs a day and nothing.starting to believe that th Jesus hates me and condemned me to limbo where I will never find this gun. Been with 2 members of my clan as they get the gun some for the 3rd time other for the 10 th WTF!!!!

2 RepliesGo to the speaker buy blessing of the knight it increase the drop rate from the knights and hive and put eris class item too. better chance of getting it . i been trying 700 time now after i put it i got it after 3 knight

I got this gun 10 minutes after the first crota reset. I killed my second patrol swordbearer, and I got it. Im among the first to have it, if not THE first. Because I got it ten minutes after it was available. I felt special.
