Although spam isn't too much of a problem considering the trending system, I don't think it should be swept under the rug or the necessity to remove spam/spammers be lessened than any other forum. I was viewing #community and found various threads posted multiple times by users about date advice, marriage and for those experiencing relationship problems to call this repetitive number found on all of them, lol. This seems to be an epidemic across all forums in all honesty. True, we're fortunate to have not received the Russian spam bots but I'm sure these are still quite annoying. /rant
