Do you like the gear progression since the dlc?
I wonder if Bungie will respond to straightforward polling, so I will be posting a number of simple polls. Add your comments about how you think things should be fixed and why, or why not.
In this case, do you like the gear progression since the dlc? This is specifically referring to Vault of Glass raid gear, exotic upgrades, and perhaps even vendor gear/RNG drops which are all better than any previous gear. Are you okay with this?
Edit: Some people really like these polls and would like to see them trending. Perhaps Bungie will see them then and respond to them in some way? Maybe wishful thinking.. Anyways, I have added links to the other polls so that you can vote on all of them!

The VOG raid gear might not have 331 attack but those guns are still some of the best in the game.

You could use Vanguard gear to get to 29 when the cap was 30 now you can get to 31 with the cap 32. Also I kind of like the new raid gear using different upgrade materials because I have stock piles of aces don't shards and energies and forces us to get more. I don't get putting the hard mode at 33. Would all enemies be 33 or would the last levels be 35? Which would be very hard

1 ReplySince vendors have sold 33 light gear, all sorts of people doing vault of glass came In wanting to do a hardmode when they didn't even know who Atheon is. We need a new way to determine how experienced someone is would be the only solution.

Don't think anyone does. We all expected new gear and expanded levels but TDB makes it feel like a waste of time to have spent all that work getting to lvl 30 when you can just buy better stuff from a vendor. I know they don't want everyone to have to grind VOG to be able to access the new content, but why not do something nice for all the hard work you put into the old gear? Let you upgrade it, or give you a bunch of ascendants for scrapping it? Just, do something to honor all the work you put into that stuff. Oh, and fix the exotic upgrade system, it's ridiculous to have to re-grind the exact same weapon all over again for a 10% damage boost.

I'm only miffed over my VOG weapons being underpowered compared to newer weapons.

I fully expected it to be out classed the DLC stuff, just not to be out done from vendors. I wouldn't have even been upset if they made me do VoG to get level 31 gear. But to make it a complete waste and irrelevant is not right. But I did poll a yes.. As far as exotics, I don't look at it as a "Reset". I look at it as a completely new item, that they are saving me the time in getting it to drop.

1 ReplyIm still waiting to see what happens about the whole weapon and armor system since the dlc. There was a major outrage on plenty of forums and theyve acknowledged being aware of it. Im expecting the update today to address the direction of this game. If it doesnt mention it today i'm for sure done with the game for good. I havent played it since that update was posted.

14 RepliesI'm quite upset by the gear progression. Our raid gear is worthless and vendor gear is better. Our exotics require exotic shards which cost 7 strange coins each, and we need 7,000 glimmer and an exotic shard to buy the upgrade. That's 14 exotic shards just to fully upgrade it, and possibly 21 for a weapon if you maxed out the old version. Ridiculous.

2 RepliesI do like how exotics don't take ascent shards/energy anymore towards the last upgrades. Now it's harder to upgrade legendary weapons over exotics!
