How about 5 ascendants and a black wax idol for a radiant material at Eris? As it is radiant materials are a huge bottleneck. I have weapons from Crota I'll never be able to level because they will take 3-4 more raid runs for enough materials for one weapon. I really like the raid but don't want to play it 50 times. Being able to trade solves a lot of problems with this game - At level 31 ascendant shards are near useless, this would give them more of a purpose - all of those who have 100s stocked up will have a use for them - it would take 105 ascendant shards to level a piece of armor, a lot, but helps the bottleneck not be so bad while not just giving away level 32 - it would give us a reason to go back and play the Vault of Glass, and getting ascendants there would feel less like getting screwed by rng - ascendant shards would feel like more of a reward for doing Public events, daily story missions, nightfalls etc... All of the content would help progress not just the raid. - it reduces the insane number of times we have to grind the raid to upgrade all the stuff it gives us.
