This isn't my first rodeo. If I'm scoped in on an enemy and another enemy passes between us, I don't need the game going "DUUUUUUH" and pulling my aim off of my intended target. I'm sure this game mechanic is fine for some people, but if one possesses ANY semblance of FPS skill or experience, it is highly aggravating. The game doesn't shoot or jump for me, I don't need it aiming for me. Thanks in advance.

Edited by BunkerGATE13: 2/8/2015 6:00:39 AMAnother example of how game designers think it's neat to screw with the player. Obviously it's intended to be a pain in the ass. . Otherwise the foe A I wouldn't be running past your line of sight.. And yes the sniper hide thing... I stopped using the sniper rifles at levl 10 because of that crap. What's the point if you can have the intended effect with a scout scope. - kill auto aim (I'm not 5 years old I know how to aim) - kill sniper scope vision thing.. because it's stupid and makes no sense. .. What's logic anyways... Love trying to shoot around those cabal shields with aim assist. .. (cross hairs right on his exposed arm_yet bullets impacting center of mass on the shield. . Sweet magic bullets

This gets me killed all the time ! Disable aim assist!
-
The hallowed knights in crota hard mode in the first room when fighting crota. Literally their only job is to make you auto aim on them when your trying to shoot the acolytes
-
How to fix: it's called target acquisition you can change it a little if your fun has a scope change it to the normal target acquisition
-
I may be imagining it but it actually seems to have become worse lately.
-
Makes too much sense. Please nerf this post.

Yes please. This is the most annoying mechanic I've encountered in any game. I don't benefit from this, it actually screws me.
-
Let's also get rid of enemies knowing when your scoping in in them with a sniper and suddenly run for cover, but don't move an inch when you scope anything else. Seriously what kinda AI Is that.
-
It's done this to me countless times, whenever I'm trying to shoot at a moving target, the scope goes "hurdy dur durty" and won't lock on to them for shit, but when I'm trying to kill something specific, a little novice passing in front of them causes me to shoot them instead, it's retarded as -blam!-
-
Agreed
-
Good example: You're about to super the Templar while holding the relic and a -blam!-ing harpy zips across your screen to moment you click it. An auto-aim (on/off) feature wouldnt hurt now would it?
-
Yeah irritating isn't it
-
"What? You've been staring at an ultra for a while waiting for the perfect shot? Let's shoot the little guy that ran in front of you first."
-
It is the stupid aim assist that games are adding to help people's bad aim.
-
YES I -blam!-ING HATE THAT!!
-
Super Bump!!!!!
-
-
Yes let us turn it off
-
Yes let us toggle aim assist.
-
Especially with a sniper scope. The clips are small as a game mechanic general rule, and having a perfectly lined up shot on a high level enemy dragged off into nowhere because a -blam!-ing Dreg got to close to center is maddening.
-
Yes. So tired of this shit
-
I like it some times and hate it others.
-
Yes, this. Extremely aggravating, especially when an important target is 1 shot away from death and as soon as you're about to pull the trigger the game jumps in like a happy-go-lucky retard and says "Here let me get that for ya!" And drifts your sights away to some random meaningless target in front of you just because it happened to pass by. So stupid. It's 2015, get a better shooting design. Enough with the amateur shit. Not that this issue isn't at the bottom of a 12 page long list of issues with this game.
