With the release of expansion 1 I spent most of my time preparing and exploring the exotic reupgrade system and my final thoughts are it is not healthy for the game. Exotic Guns require a large investment of time, glimmer, materials, and the almighty exotic shard. For the majority of casual to moderately hard core players this is simply too much. There have been many solutions I won't talk about that. Exotic gear. I don't mind. It's annoying. Yes. But gear upgrades faster and there is much less gear to collect and reupgrade. I sincerely hope this gets changed. Collecting and upgrading exotics to change the way I play crucible and pve is something I love about the game. My friends and I run raids or control and we'll rotate what exotic we use every time allowing for some fun challenging gameplay (have youtried to kill a preatorian with the old bad juju, difficult but fun)
