500 void points help
I need help with the 500 void points part of my thorn bounty which is excruciating because I'm a hunter and I'm not that good in the Crucible

Best solution I've found to date is go into a Rumble match as a 3 man team and feed one designated player kills until he/she gets the bounty. I was helping a buddy last night and he was averaging 70-100 points/match. If anyone wants to do this add me: MAJ_Bryan (PS4) The method is boring but PRODUCTIVE. I will help anyone who joins me tonight and will gladly blow Xyor's head off with you following. All I ask is that you help ME get the PvP part too.

2 RepliesMy suggestion would be to get an AR, something that'll take enemies down fast incase you are out of Special/Heavy ammo or you're caught between a rock and a hard place. Second, obtain either a Shotgun or Fusion Rifle that deals Void damage (Of course). Whichever fits your play style. I personally chose a Fusion Rifle called "The Calming" which helped absolutely wreck PvP at a stock upgrade. You'll have to play it safe and wise. No, not by camping, but by knowing the map, not rushing in to try and murder everyone, and by keeping a slight distance. Get a Void Heavy, I chose a Rocket Launcher. Finally play in Control, capture B, get a good feeling of where your enemy is, or where he/she will come from. All I can think of saying... Oh, yes! Do not let the 500 points or deaths get to you, keep a positive attitude and don't rage. I did it in roughly 2 hours but I was also a Voidwalker. I wish you the best of luck.

1 ReplyDude. Just use a shotgun and machine gun and kill people. When it says heavy ammo inbound you go to it. You need to memorize where they drop

I got my 500 point done yesterday and it was... PAINFUL! I would suggest you don't look at the count and just play the crucible as if you do not have the bounty. It takes away some of the stress.

2 RepliesTherein lies the problem of forcing people to play content they don't like, at a certain skill level, on classes that clearly have advantages and disadvantages in terms of dealing void damage. I'm so bad at crucible that it took me about 8 hours total game, in content i hate just so i can finally get a fricken hand cannon worth a damn because all the engrams i get turn into fricken energy hahaha. It seems evident that people hate this bounty, i've yet to find someone tell me they enjoyed it, and you can see that every other post in crucible forums relates to help with this bounty. Why make content people hate or dont want to, or cant do in a reasonable time span? I know im ranting, but i also think i make a decent point :P sorry

4 RepliesEdited by stealthkiller22: 12/14/2014 2:17:43 PMi would use a void shotgun and void heavy machine gun for this bounty bounty annoying probably easiest to do with a warlock as you have void super and grenades to assist plus void melee i think titan uses void grenades on defender? hunter got rely purely on weapons you can try atheon epilogue but you want high impact when it comes to crucible

Easiest way for me was to go into Rumble and play conservative with a void shotty and void HMG. Got mine around 10 matches. Good luck man!!

I'm working on my second one now so both of my characters can have one. I have Atheon's Epilogue and Corrective Measure this time, and I managed to get 72 points on my first crucible run. I have a void weapon in every slot. That's easier said than done, since two of them are Vault of Glass weapons, but you'll be done in no time if you can equip one or two good void weapons.
