Our very first weapon we got in the game was pretty much an m4/m16 and it was an common weapon. In rl they have mods to customize an m4/m16 to the situation or the users pref. They should make this gun a evolving weapon where it can tune to your play style or class. They should have different exotic bounties you get at random to change this weapon like 3 PVE variants and 3 PVP variants designed for long range fights (turns into a scout rifle), all purpose (AR just like it with bad ass upgrades), or a CQB (etc). I still have this gun in the vault because is sentimental but I just don't want it to sit there not doing anything. I do use it for crucible and it's not a bad weapon. I just want to see it where you can make it in to something better where the old school weapons can match up to futuristic weapons.
