Heavy Ammo Consumable isn't working
Hope I am posting this in the right place, if not then my apologies.
I noticed earlier this week that when I go to use a Heavy Ammo Consumable, it doesn't give me the ammo. At all. And it's even counting down the cool down like its supposed to, but no heavy ammo. I used 2 heavy ammo packs Wed, Dec 10th and nothing happened. Thought maybe just a glitch in the matrix or something and moved on, killing for my ammo.
Last night, I WASTED, not USED, but WASTED 4 Heavy Consumables and got NOTHING. I even dashboarded (360) from the game and reloaded it up thinking it might help but it didn't. Got back on Destiny to finish my gameplay, used a heavy consumable and still didn't get my ammo. -.-
Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this or not. Never had this problem until now. Probably wouldn't have made this post if it weren't for the fact that I'm spending glimmer on things I can't use.
Hope you guys can look into this and fix it.

1 ReplyHello, Bungie is aware that some players are having difficulties when using their ammo synthesis packs. Bungie is investigating this issue and will try to get this resolved as quickly as possible. In the meantime, make sure you have verified the following actions for your inventory: Make sure your consumable inventory isn't full, as "sitting on" many Ammo Synthesis stacks may have to do with the issue. If your consumable inventory is looking full, place some Ammo Synthesis stacks in your Vault to help prevent the above-mentioned issue.

same thing has been happening to me also not just with heavy but special.

You have to have an empty slot in your consumables inventory for ammo synths to work, a known issue that has yet to be patched.
